I had the privilege of working with Matt when the Los Angeles Unified School District adopted curriculum from TCI. Matt's follow through and attention to detail was what made the transition smooth. Smooth transitions are no small feat for the second largest school district in the nation. It was Matt's ability to forge personal connections with many of the key educators and policy makers in the district that assured this seamless transition.
In addition to Matt's many assets as a customer sales consultant, he also excelled as a problem-shooter and as an organizer of training events. It was because of Matt's proactive approach that clients were left feeling well cared for after the giant contract was implemented. He made sure that anyone who was using his company's products got the training and support they required. Matt would be an asset to whatever organization he worked with. I recommend him without hesitation.

As the Vice President of our company, it was my pleasure to work with Matt Keillor. He enthusiastically accepted a wide variety of responsibilities with us including account management and sales. Matt demonstrated an ability to learn our product and business quickly and immediately applied himself to add value to our organization.
As an Account Manager, Matt established and maintained good relationships with our customers. He was a strong and effective advocate for them and interacted with coworkers in a positive and cooperative manner when representing the customers’ needs. Matt always followed through with client requests to ensure issues were resolved and client satisfaction was assured. He truly was customer focused.
In Sales, Matt proved to be an enthusiastic self-starter. His self-confident and personable nature served him well. He travelled willingly and worked long hours to build his territory and to respond to requests for information. In doing so he placed organizational needs above his personal needs and showed a strong sense of responsibility to his job. The lengthy, complex proposal process Matt managed proved him to be detailed-oriented and well-organized. He always met the customer deadlines and kept his commitments.
Matt is bright, articulate, and personable and is a dedicated professional. He will be an asset to any organization.

One of Matt's strengths is his ability to quickly get to know people. He is extremely personable. As his demo-guy for the past year, I observed Matt before and after our sales calls introducing himself, listening to people and gathering information that proved helpful in the sales process. Matt cares about people and relationships. I can't remember one conference, trade show or sales call where he didn't know and introduce me to someone.

Matt Keillor was a TCI representative in charge of the LAUSD region I work. He was always available to support our work with teachers and students. On three occassions, Matt conducted in-services of the teachers in Local District 5 of LAUSD. He also suppported the teachers by providing trainings and resources at Hollenbeck MS, Carver MS, LA Academy MS, Roosevelt HS and Lincoln HS. Matt Keilor has always been professional and supportive of the teachers in Local District 5. I highly recommend Matt as a knowledgeable instructional leader.

Matt is known throughout our district as the most accessible sales rep who goes out of his way to ensure that his product is delivered and utilized to its intended design. He understands the nuances of the business and can work around all of the restrictions and rules that prevent students from access to quality products.

Matt Keillor is a man with unquestionable integrity and professionalism. He is the kind of person you don't meet often in a lifetime. He began teaching at King Middle School in 1999 and quickly became a favorite among his students and his peers. Matt is an energetic and creative teacher who often worked beyond the workday to assure that his students receive a well-planned and organized instructional program. He provided rigorous and challenging instruction in a nurturing and supportive manner. These are desirable elements in all teaching styles.
Matt took advantage of every opportunity to increase his knowledge of the latest trends in technology and instructional strategies. He was always wiling to assist staff in all tech matters. I am extremely confident that Matt Keillor will be an asset to any organization which is so fortunate as to gain his interest.

I have known Matt throughout many ventures in my life, from two different textbook adoptions through my districts to national social studies conferences. I have always been struck by his charisma and how personable he is. Matt has an uncanny ability to make anyone feel comfortable, and he tries his hardest to create connections between people. In addition, Matt keeps in contact with people just to offer help in case one might need it. Out of all the publishers and social studies companies I have worked with, Matt has been one of the best contacts and most helpful to me in my career. I know I would not be where I am today nor as successful if not for his guidance and support.

I had the honor of working with Matt for five years. He is one of the most creative, hard-working and quality teachers we've had at our school. In addition to teaching both 7th and 8th grade, Matt put together our school's health program, coached three different sports, and led the Boys' High School tennis team to it's best record and 1st winning season in more than 20 years!
In the classroom Matt had a multitude of creative programs for his students that engaged students and allowed them to showcase their skills unlike any other teacher I'd seen do before. In fact, Matt had been with us only one year when he was asked to take over the 7th grade GATE program, in great part because his abilities made it clear to our administration that he was the best person for the job. We teamed up on several projects and I had the chance to see up close how Matt's positive relationship and work ethic encouraged each student and made him/her feel important. His work with the students was exceptional.

I had the pleasure of working with Matt during a textbook adoption in 2006. Matt was eager to acquaint those of us on the committee with the stellar program that he represented at that time. He gave me a class set to pilot the program and was at the ready to answer any questions I may have had. After the adoption, he did not disappear like so many reps do. He was still available for training and to answer questions as they arose. Specifically, at the beginning of this school year, I had a need to learn how to use certain components of the program which I did not have access to before. We recently had LCD projectors installed, so we were now able to use the transparencies in a more powerful way. I called Matt and asked if he could come to our school to train us using this tool. He was most accommodating, fitting his schedule around ours. He conducted the training with his usual affable personality, making us feel confident that we could now access these tools with ease. It was successful. Many of us, including me, are now using our LCDs with ease.

Matt showed excellent competence through teaching a variety of subjects at King Middle School, not only in communicating the academic lessons, but in maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere and rapport with all of his students. More than a few of them came in with little regard for the education process. Classes Matt was asked to teach catered to the extremes of the 7th grade Gifted and Talented students to the 8th grade special education qualified students, inclusive also of new English Language Learners.
His personal characteristics serve him well, as his quiet confidence, ability to communicate honestly and fairly, and his willingness to 'go the extra mile' to help his students be successful in academics and as people are rare qualities to be respected and utilized to the fullest. His character, skills and abilities will most certainly lead to success.

Matt's skill in networking and his enthusiasm grows from the foundation of his work ethic. Matt Keillor's people-centeredness, his positive attitude, and his dedicated work ethic are evidence of his zest for life.

"Mr. Keillor teaches as if it was magic. He is an extraordinary educator who teaches his students in a variety of ways, while avoiding the everyday use of those tedious textbooks. He inspires his students to do superbly in school, and teaches them how to get along in life and the importance of self-discipline. Mr. Keillor is one deserving teacher who ought to be recognized for his outstanding teaching abilities.
